In this course, you will build, test and deploy Internet applications with Oracle Forms. Working in a graphical user interface (GUI) environment, you learn how to build forms with user input items such as check boxes, list items, and radio groups. You will also display Form elements in multiple windows and customize data access by creating event-related triggers.

In this course, students learn how to design and build a variety of standard and custom Web and paper reports using Oracle Reports Developer. Working in the declarative environment of Reports Builder, students learn how to retrieve, display, and format data from any data source in numerous reporting styles and publish the output to any destination.
During the course, students learn how to add dynamic content to a static Web page and publish reports to the Web. Students also learn how to customize more complex reports, embed graphical charts, and use OracleAS Reports Services to deploy your reports.

OracleAS 10g R3: Build J2EE Applications I

What you will learn:

During this course, you are introduced to the concepts and practical techniques of building J2EE applications. The practices involve building an end-to-end application using JavaServer Faces, Oracle TopLink, and Enterprise JavaBeans.
This first course about J2EE development focuses particularly on client applications. In addition to learning core J2EE skills, you also utilize Oracle Application Development Framework (ADF) to build components.

What you will learn:

This course teaches students how to design, develop, and deploy enterprise Java applications for Oracle Application Server 10g R3 using EJB 3.0 components.
Students learn to use session beans, message-driven beans, and entities as they create a secure database-backed application in practical hands-on labs. Students also learn to implement application security, handle transactions, and schedule execution of recurring application tasks using standards-based technologies.

This course teaches students to build applications by using ADF Business Components (ADF BC), ADF Faces, and ADF databinding using Oracle JDeveloper 10g Release 3.Students explore ADF Business components and will learn to develop entity objects and simple pages with ADF Faces.Students learn how to build the pages to support a multi-page transaction and then deploy the application to Oracle Application Server 10g.
This course also introduces students to web services and how they are used in Business Component applications. Students learn how to call and make use of web services from their ADF applications.
